14. Rhinoceros beetle
You know that guy at the gym, who looks like some sort of comic book hero? And he’s always putting everything available on the bar and lifting it up over his head? What a show-off. And also, he’s nowhere near as strong as the rhinoceros beetle – accounting for body size, anyway. The rhinoceros beetle can lift 850 times its own weight. By comparison, a 250-pound man would have to lift over 200,000 pounds in order to compete with this funny-looking bug. That means he’d have to bench press an Argentinosaurus, the largest dinosaur to ever walk the Earth. Next time you see him at the gym, ask him if he can do that.
